The Commercial Mobile Radio Service Emergency Telecommunications Board (CMRS Board) is charged with administrating the CMRS fund for the purpose of implementing wireless emergency Enhanced 911 service throughout Kentucky in accordance with State and Federal Legislation and Regulations.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION REGARDING THE CMRS BOARD'S EFT SYSTEM
The CMRS Board’s Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT) payment application has been experiencing technical difficulties, including security concerns. At the request of the State’s Office of Technology, the Board’s EFT system has been ‘taken down’ and is now unavailable as a means to remit 911 surcharges to the Board.
Immediately and until further notice from the CMRS Board, all monthly remittance payments should be made to the CMRS Board by paper check, made payable to the order of the Kentucky State Treasury and accompanied by the current version of the CMRS Provider Remittance Report (xls, 44k) The CMRS Board’s address is:

All information requested to be provided in the report is authorized by KRS 65.7630 and requires a response.

The CMRS Board's NG911 Network RFP was released on April 25th, 2012 and proposals will be due June 8th, 2012.
