Ken joined the Office of the 911 Coordinator/CMRS Board in December 2004 and serves as the Administrator of the CMRS Board and as Executive Director of the Office of the 911 Coordinator.  Prior to his current position, Mr. Mitchell was the Director of Relationship and Service Management in the Office of Enterprise IT Policy and Planning with the Commonwealth Office of Technology and was the Wireless Inititiatives Coordinator for the Office of Infrastructure Services with COT involved with wireless voice and data communications projects primarily for public safety.  He is a member of the Kentucky Wireless Interoperability Executive Committee, most recently serving as chairman.  He is also a member of the National Association of State 911 Directors, the National Emergency Number Association, and the Association of Public Safety Communications Officials.  Prior to joining state government in 2002, Ken had a career in broadcasting of over 25 years and was a partner in six central Kentucky radio stations.  He is a graduate of the University of Kentucky with a BA in Telecommunications.  Ken resides on a farm in eastern Shelby County with his wife Victoria.  He has two children and one grandson.

Denisa joined the Office of the 911 Coordinator/CMRS Board in November 2006 as Staff Assistant.  Denisa worked in state government for approximately 30 years having retired from the Kentucky State Police in August 2003.  While she occupied several positions during her 27 year career with the KSP, during the last 12 years she worked in the KSP Communications Section where she was the 911 Coordinator.  After a brief break from state government, Denisa most recently worked for Kentucky Emergency Management as the Chemical Stockpile Emergency Preparedness (CSEPP) Program Manager.  In her role with the Office of the 911 Coordinator she works with 911 Centers across the Commonwealth to facilitate needed upgrades to their systems and to support improvement of the 911 infrastructure by Commercial Mobile Radio Service wireless carriers throughout Kentucky.  Denisa resides in Simpsonville.

Tandy joined the Office of the 911 Coordinator/CMRS Board in May 2005 as the Executive Assistant after serving as in intern during the summer of 2004.  Tandy graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Kentucky in August 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Integrated Strategic Communications with an emphasis in Geography.  Tandy coordinates Kentucky's 911 Education for Children Project and currently manages CMRS grants.  She also serves as Treasurer of the Kentucky Emergency Number Association.  Tandy resides in Lexington with her husband, Billy.
